- Teaching Approach
- My mission is to nurture a love for music and music making, and to promote personal growth and well being through the arts. I believe in a well rounded, holistic approach in music education that will teach transferable skills beyond the instrument. My students begin by building a strong foundation of note recognition, rhythmic precision, and basic weight-based movement control. Afterwards, we work on more sophisticated topics such as musical interpretation, aural awareness, and advanced playing technique.
