Student Recitals

AAAPTG student recitals are non-competitive performance opportunities are open to students of member teachers and non-member teachers.

BASIC INFO
  • Registration & payment sent by music teachers only
  • Registration fee per solo or ensemble entry:
    • Active & Collegiate Members: $20
    • Non-AAAPTG Members: $40
  • Open to students, including:
    • All instruments & voices
    • All levels & genres
    • All solos & ensembles
PERFORMERS' EXPECTATIONS
  • Performing from memory
    • Formal: required for solo
    • Informal: optional
  • Repertoire selections should be performance-ready
    (i.e. the music should "flow" reasonably well from start to end)
  • Each may perform up to 2 pieces within these time limits:
    • Beginners - 3 minutes
    • Intermediate - 5 minutes
    • Advanced - 7 minutes
