Teaching Approach
I use a hybrid approach based in Music Learning Theory and the Pace Method. All beginner students play by ear and learn to read and write music when it's the right time for them. I'm happy to accept transfer students and adapt/expand on the methods students have already used. The focus of lessons is how to practice effectively and enjoy making music with others and on your own.
