- Teaching Approach
- I am affirming and believe everyone has the innate ability to create and understand music. I approach music as language and incorporate many elements of Music Learning Theory. I use the Faber Piano Adventures curriculum for beginning and elementary students. For intermediate students I use standard repertoire from the various style periods.

- Biography
- I taught functional piano at EMU (degree requirement for music majors). I have taught students of all ages. I currently have a small private studio in my home with a beautiful Steinway L grand piano. I was a church musician for over 20 years, playing the organ, piano, and directing the choir. I have also worked at Interlochen Arts Camp as a piano practice supervisor.
