DESCRIPTION:Jeremy Dittus \nDalcroze Workshop \nJeremy Dittus’ Dalcroze School of the Rockies (DSR) educates musicians\, dancers\, senior citizens\, and educators using la Méthode Jaques-Dalcroze. This dynamic\, engaging\, and creative method offers an experiential way of knowing music through purposeful movement and discovery-based learning. With music as the teacher in the classroom\, we inspire our students through active listening\, the spirit of play\, social interaction\, and improvisation. \nDr. Jeremy Dittus enjoys a career as a pianist\, theorist\, and Dalcroze Education specialist. An avid recitalist\, he has performed solo and chamber programs and presented Dalcroze masterclasses throughout the United States\, Europe\, South America\, and Southeast Asia.
